A year ago today, my abuser fell into my lap, and in a split second decision, I chose to catch him, and not let him fall.
A year ago today, I was stripped naked in front of a live studio audience.
A year ago today, I was lied to, and cheated out of a promise.
A year ago today, my belief that good outweighed money was put to rest.
A year ago today, false promises filled a stage to gain followers.
A year ago, I learned I do not have what it takes to be like them.
